The lamp is designed to replace the sunlight in greenhouses when growing crops. Thanks to the use of highly efficient LEDs that emit only in those parts of the spectrum that are actively absorbed by plants, lamps are the most effective and economical means to get light as similar as possible to the sunlight. LED lamps used for illumination of greenhouses are much more efficient and more economical than fluorescent, metal halide and sodium lamps used for this purpose.
